Who We Are

Tax, accounting, auditing and consulting is what we do at Busby Ford & Reimer.

This is who we are.

Our Team

Stan Busby, Partner

Kansas State College of Pittsburg (Pittsburg State University), 1976
CPA

Stan started his accounting career at Price Waterhouse and Co. in Kansas City, Mo., and later worked for Regier, Carr and Monroe, CPA in Wichita; he founded S.R.Busby, CPA in 1984. Stan is responsible for managing the firm and coordinating client services. In addition, he provides tax, consulting and audit services to a diverse group of clients including individuals as well as construction, transportation and government clients. He is a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also successfully completed the AICPA Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational Achievement Program and the AICPA Tax Planning & Advising Certificate of Educational Achievement Program. Both are intense programs encompassing accounting, auditing and tax requirements for entities. It is not unusual to hear Stan playing his guitar throughout the day, and when he is not in the office, you will find him on the golf course.

Randy Ford, Partner

Wichita State University, 1986
CPA

Randy worked temporarily for S.R.Busby, CPA after graduating from WSU before going to work for Mize, Houser & Company in Lawrence, Kan. In 1990, he returned as an employee at S.R.Busby, CPA. Randy is responsible for coordinating all audits performed by the firm and is the designated firm governmental audit partner. Randy works closely with a number of school districts and municipalities as well as non-profit organizations. He is a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has also completed the AICPA Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational Achievement Program. Randy is a die-hard Wichita State Shocker fan, and the collection of Shocker paraphernalia in his office is rivaled only by the Wichita State University bookstore.

Greg Reimer, Partner

Tabor College, 1993
CPA

Greg began working for William C. Smith, CPA in 1995 and was admitted as a partner to BFR in January 2010. Greg oversees the firm's technology systems in addition to performing tax and audit services, working closely with a number of school districts and non-profit institutions. Greg is a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Greg is an avid runner, for pleasure and for sport. He has competed in many races including the 2012 Boston Marathon.

Patrick Jarchow

CPA

Patrick is a Kansas State graduate and is a member of the AICPA and KSCPA. He and his wife are season ticket holders for K-State Football, and one of his goals is to go to every Big 12 road venue for K-State football in a single season. He's accidentally been to Canada -- when his family got lost on a boat trip in Minnesota. He's also been to Paris, France (that time, on purpose).

Donna Willoughby

CPA

Donna is a graduate of Manhattan (KS) Christian College and Kansas State University, with degrees with Bible/Church Music and Business Administration in Accounting. She is a member of AICPA and KSCPA. She enjoys playing piano and singing (of course!) and traveling and camping. She worked for the firm for one year in the 1990s before moving, but she is thrilled to be back in Wichita working with wonderful people and clients.

Debbie Heasty

Debbie has been with BFR since the beginning...back when the firm used to be called Busby, Smith & Ford! She started as a receptionist, but now is involved with day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll of various clients. She's an avid Kansas State fan and goes to as many football and basketball games as she can.

Jill Ford

Jill is a graduate of Friends University in Wichita. She loves to travel -- her most exciting vacation was a trip to Ireland with her husband, Randy. Outside of the office, she likes to garden and enjoy the outdoors.

Kathy Applegate

Kathy has nearly 30 years of accounting experience. She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is a graduate of Wichita State University (GO SHOCKERS!) and loves to travel. She's swam with dolphins in Cozumel!

Clayton Hubbell

Clayton is a graduate of Wichita State University. He loves his Chicago Cubs -- he watched the Cubbies hit a walk-off grand slam in the 13th inning on his first visit to Wrigley Field. If he was down to his last $10, he'd get double the meat on his burrito at Chipotle.

Ola Ogunsaju

MBA, CPA

A graduate of Cal State Northridge and the University of Tulsa Business School (MBA), Ola joined BFR in 2018. She specializes in oil & gas accounting. She loves to sew, and if she had infinite time and resources, she would travel the world. Her favorite author is John Grisham.

Rachel Simmon

Rachel has been with BFR for nearly 20 years. She loves working at BFR, because she gets to work with great people -- clients and coworkers, alike. She loves all things nature -- especially birds. She can identify nearly every native Kansas bird and migratory birds by their songs!

Kelly Nevil

Kelly is the first person clients see when they arrive at BFR! So, naturally, she's a people-person. She is passionate about working with the poor and disenfranchised to improve their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Outside of work, she loves to read and watch period dramas on TV.
