Tax, accounting, auditing and consulting is what we do, but here is who we are:
 

Stanley R. Busby, CPA - Partner
Stan grew up in southeast Kansas and graduated from Kansas State College of Pittsburg (now Pittsburg State University) in 1976. He started his accounting career at Price Waterhouse and Co. in Kansas City, Mo., and later worked for Regier, Carr and Monroe, CPA in Wichita; he founded S.R.Busby, CPA in 1984. 

Stan is responsible for managing the firm and coordinating client services. In addition, Stan provides tax, consulting and audit services to a diverse group of clients including individuals as well as construction, transportation and government clients. He is a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also successfully completed the AICPA Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational Achievement Program and the AICPA Tax Planning & Advising Certificate of Educational Achievement Program. Both are intense programs encompassing accounting, auditing and tax requirements for entities.

It is not unusual to hear Stan playing his guitar throughout the day, and when he is not in the office — which rarely happens — you will find him on the golf course.
 

Randall G. Ford, CPA - Partner
Randy was raised in Maize, Kan., and graduated from Wichita State University in 1986. He worked temporarily for S.R.Busby, CPA after graduating before going to work for Mize, Houser & Company in Lawrence, Kan. In 1990, he returned as an employee at S.R.Busby, CPA. 

Randy is responsible for coordinating all audits performed by the firm and is the designated firm governmental audit partner. Randy works closely with a number of school districts and municipalities as well as non-profit organizations. He is a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has also completed the AICPA Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational Achievement Program.

Randy is a die-hard Wichita State Shocker fan, and the collection of Shocker paraphernalia in his office is rivaled only by the Wichita State University bookstore.
 

Greg A. Reimer, CPA - Partner
Greg grew up in Hays, Kan., and graduated from Tabor College in 1993.  Greg began working for William C. Smith, CPA in 1995 and was admitted as a partner to BFR in January 2010.

Greg oversees the firm's technology systems in addition to performing tax and audit services, working closely with a number of school districts and non-profit institutions. Greg is a member of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is currently working toward completing the requirements to become a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP).

Greg is an avid runner, for pleasure and for sport. He has competed in several local running competitions and is currently training for the 2012 Boston Marathon.
